Ontario supplement sales fall under Canada's federal Natural Health Products Regulations, administered by Health Canada's Natural and Non-prescription Health Products Directorate. Every finished NHP sold in Ontario (through retail, pharmacy, or DTC e-commerce) requires a valid NPN. The facility producing it needs a Site Licence. There are no Ontario-specific supplement regulations beyond the federal framework, but provincial business, labeling (bilingual English/French), and consumer protection rules all apply to commercial operations based in the province.
